The Partnerships for America provides help to children beyond the diaper years and through all their important development stages up to young adulthood.
The Cuddle Me Diaper and Food Bank
Cuddle Me Diaper and Food Bank provides the essentials of daily living for children, birth to three years of age through the distribution of free disposable diapers and wipes, nutritious formula and gently used baby clothing and equipment. The Cuddle Me program is the first phase of developing healthy, happy children.
The Trailblazers program provides children from age four to 11 with educational and recreational values, fostering their natural capacity to develop the positive behavior skills and social skills necessary in their physical and mental development. The Trailblazers program prepares children for the journey through preschool, kindergarten, elementary school and middle school. This program is the second phase as children transition to high school.
The final stage of a child’s development, age 12 to 17, is centered in the Future Leaders program, which provides mentoring, computer training, work skills and recreational opportunities to help teens develop skills and prepare for college and work environments. Through the participation in this program, community service hours can be accumulated toward hours needed for high school graduation.
Prepare for School Success
The Prepare for School Success program provides new school supplies and book bags for children in families with low or very low income. School supplies are a necessary tool in a child’s educational development throughout the year, so the Prepare for School program provides resources not just in September, but again in January to refresh the child’s supplies and their readiness to learn.
The Healthy Child program provides meals for children who do not meet the free lunch program guidelines set by their school systems. The Healthy Child program is a component of the Fit4Kids program, and distributes age-appropriate food, introducing a wholesome, balanced diet and proper nutrition to help reduce childhood obesity.
